Marison is primarily engaged in producing reality, taking the painting as the word, making the painting the reality that communicates with the viewer. Marison usually constructs through a form of non-linear narrative, with a typical fusion of personal memories within a broader historical overview of visual adventures. Her most important works are rooted in childhood experiences or cherished memories; memories that are ultimately neither subjective nor autobiographical.”
